Youth: the hope of future
After over a yearlong nationwide lockdown and lockdown restrictions, the youths of our parish were able to come together for their ‘Youth Day Celebration.’ It’s a time for them to come together, know one another, build, and nurture their relationship of oneness as parish youth and its future. They were all enthusiastic and happy. One could perceive the deep longing for coming together. Hence, we were surprised to see more than the expected number of energetic boys and girls for the program. The program was a great success, and the credit goes to our animators of the day Frs. Neelam, Augustine, and Sch. Telesphore. They stirred the minds and hearts of the youth and filled them with energy and hope. They all went home with new hope and new energy. Thanks to our Youth Core Team for organizing such a beautiful program.
Well-done! But remember it’s just a beginning. Keep reminding yourselves of the words of American poet Robert Frost:
“…The woods are lovely, dark, and deep.
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.”
In the darkness of ‘uncertainties’ such as economic, education, health, jobs, etc. in the country, guys, keep going! And you will definitely find a ray of ‘hope’.
