Adolfo Nicolás, S.J., the 30th superior general of the Society of Jesus, died in Tokyo, Japan, on May 20. He was 84 years old.
“With sorrow, but at the same time full of gratitude, I wish to inform you that today...the Lord called to Himself Father Adolfo Nicolás, our former Superior General,” Arturo Sosa, S.J., the current superior general, said in a message to the Society.

'1 Day Recollection' for the youth of our parish

Saturday, March 27, 2021 , we had '1 Day Recollection' for our parish youth. The recollection focussed on 'growing in an intimate relationship with God.' The whole program was organized and managed by the Core Committee of our parish youth, guided by Fr. Amit Lakra S.J. It was a thrilling experience to see so many young boys and girls coming for the recollection. The Sacrament of Reconciliation was arranged and practically, all of them received the Sacrament. Some of them expressed their joy of having received the golden opportunity of receiving the Sacrament after the Corona Lockdown. All the more it was a spiritual preparation for them before Easter.  Fr. Ranjit Roshan Minj S.J. , from Chaibasa was the guide for the recollection.
